Terms of service.

These terms govern your access to and use of Peek — the app, the website at joinpeek.app, and any associated services. By creating an account or otherwise using Peek, you agree to them.

1 · Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Peek account. To enter rooms at venues that serve alcohol, you must meet the local legal drinking age (21 in the United States).

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your phone-number verification current, and not impersonate another person, organization, or brand. Each person may maintain one account.

You are responsible for activity on your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

2 · How you behave in the room

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines in every venue room, in every one-on-one chat, and in every interaction with another Peek user. We do not tolerate harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, doxxing, threats of violence, impersonation, or spam.

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent removal from the platform at our sole discretion.

3 · Venue and brand content

Venues are responsible for the messages they pin in their rooms, including any promotional or compensatory offers (comps). Brands are responsible for any campaigns they fund through Peek, including offer terms, eligibility, and pricing.

Comp redemptions are honored at the venue's point of sale subject to venue staff verification. Peek is not the seller of any food, drink, or service offered through the platform — we provide the rail; the venue serves and the brand funds.

4 · Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the messages and content you create in Peek. By posting in a venue room, you grant us a limited license to display, transmit, store, and (where necessary) moderate that content as needed to run the service. Venue-room messages are deleted within 24 hours of the room closing — see our Privacy Policy.

Peek, the peek wordmark, and the peek interaction mechanic are trademarks and proprietary interactions of Butterfly Social Network, Inc. The website, app, and all underlying software are protected by copyright and may not be copied, reverse-engineered, or used to build a competing service.

5 · Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Use Peek for any illegal purpose, including underage drinking coordination or sale of controlled substances.
• Spoof your location to enter rooms you're not physically in.
• Scrape, copy, or otherwise extract data from Peek programmatically without written authorization.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to the service without a written agreement.
• Impersonate venues, staff, brand representatives, or other users.
• Bypass safety features (block, report, age-gate) or moderate the moderators.

6 · Disclaimers

Peek is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or the accuracy of any user-, venue-, or brand-provided content. We are not responsible for the food, drinks, service, conduct, or safety provided by venues — those are the venue's sole responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Butterfly Social Network, Inc. and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Peek.

7 · Termination

You can delete your account from Settings at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, with reasonable notice when practical.

8 · Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, unless binding arbitration is required by applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.

9 · Changes to these terms

We'll update these Terms when our service or legal obligations change. Material changes will be communicated in-app and via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
